.....Sunday Afternoon downtown

Here we are at the Iwo Jima Memorial.   We were told that the canten on the soilders side could hold  30 gallons of water.  This was a huge memorial!!

Here we are at the Ford Theater.  Here is the Presidents Booth at the theater.
This is the chair that Lincoln was sitting in.  And a pic of the gun that
John Wilks Booth used to kill our 16th president.

Here we stopped by the National Portriat Gallery.  Bryson is studying the art hung on the walls.
I took a pic of this lady "art".  At first I thought someone was allowed to bring food into the art gallery.  But no it was an art display because there was a 'do not touch' sign on it.  We also saw a map of the US using lights and TVs.  The boys loved this.  We aslo saw a scrolling huge sign.  Kinda cool to stare at!!

We had a great afternoon.  I know these are not great pics but we did not
intend on visting all these places so I forgot my camera at home.
