Goodbye Alaska

This was our last look at Alaska as we drove out on our way to the lower 48.  (I'm a little behind on postings so I'm not going to write a lot. I'll let the pictures do the talking)
This drive through Canada is one of the most amazing journeys any one could ever take.  Just wish we had not been in a hurry.

Termination snow, it's only on the tops of the mountains.

Heston found snow to make a snow ball.

Alaska will be the only place in the US that you will see a sign like this, on a major road.

The aurora came out to say good bye to us.

Last night in AK, we get snowed on.

A real life fox.

Gassing up at every station.

Fake police car on the side of the road. Keeps drivers driving at the correct speed limit.

First flat tire.

Oops, need a little gas to get to the next town.

Wild Horses.

Wild buffalo.

Oh, YES!! A nice hot warm springs! This was the highlight of the trip!! So perfect!!

Favorite spot in Canada, Liard Hot Springs!

Oops, had to have the trailer towed. Note to all:  Triple A is a life saver, don't leave home without it!!!

Washington State is one of the most green, lush states we have ever seen.
Perfect place for  Big Foot to live.

Sand dues in Oregano.  The beach is just on the other side of this huge dune.  As a past time you can ride your four wheelers or 4X4's on these dunes.

Flat tire number 2.

Oregano coast is amazing!

Tide pools on the coast.

Our kids had to try the water out.

Whale sittings off the coast.

California Red Wood trees.

An amazing trip.  I hope we took enough pictures to remember this for a lifetime.
