Day 3 at Yellowstone

We started our day off with seeing an elk on the roadside.
He was not scared of us at all.  He just went along
his business of eating grass as we
all snapped pictures of him.

Pretty flowers on the roadside.
We passed an area on the road that was signed with
no stopping signs due to eagle activity.  Yellowstone
has bald eagles.  We never saw one but we did see this
eagles nest way up in this tree.
On this day we traveled over to the neighboring state of Montana.
We visited a wolf nature center.

While we were there they fed the wolves.  Here is a bird
snacking on the wolves food.

 Hungry Mr. Wolf
Heston in a bear trap.
This little chipmunk really wanted us to feed it.  Heston had
nothing in his hand but the chipmunk really thought he did.
The boys worked really hard and earned their
Junior Ranger Badges.
Way to go guys !!!

Sunset over some hot springs.
