Looney, Tooney and Walmart.

We made it to CANADA! No trouble at the border. They sent us right through. We arrived at the border around 7pm and took about an hour to get across, due to a line.  We seemed to be the only Americans going into Canada.  There was no line on the US side, but an hour long line on the Canadian side.

So after we crossed the border the first place we stopped was a Wal-mart.  To our luck it was a RV friendly WalMart.  We we decided to pull our trailer up beside the nice RVs and bunk down for the night.

Here we are buying a few items needed.

The boys were amazed at the differences between an American Walmart and the Canadian Walmart.  It was like one of those puzzles where you spot the differences between the two pictures.  Here was the first thing we noticed, Canadians call the Restroom a Washroom.

On this bubble gum machine it states that you need a TOONEY. We had to ask what a Tooney was.  We found out that Canada does not have a one dollar bill, they have coins called a Looney and a Tooney.  So a Looney is a one dollar and a Tooney is a two dollar.

Heston thinks that Canadians need to learn to spell better.  He spotted this sign missspelt.

Guess what, Canada has Micky D's too, and right in their Walmart.  This was dinner for us on our first day in Canada. The food taste the same and our American McDonalds.

The boys love the Canadian leaf on the McDonald's arches.

Here the boys are playing with their Tooneys. They are very proud of their Tooney.

Heston spots another word missspelt.  Can you spot it on this sign.

.

Another missspelt word.

Boys playing with more money. It's more like a toy to them.

Funny little bunny hopping around the Walmart parking lot.~It's a Canadian Bunny!!

We are so glad to have crossed the border, we were really worried about if they would let us Georgia folks in. They did and now on to our next adventure.  We are excited to see and experience all British Columbia has to offer and then mozy onto Anchorage, where we'll call home for the next couple of months.
