As we drove deeper into Canada we were amazed at the beauty of our surroundings.  My pictures don't even capture the awesomeness of what we saw. It felt like we were in a jungle surrounded by a big green forest.

We had just driven through Organ and Washington States that were also very green and amazing but what we saw in British Columbia was outstanding.  British Columbia was full of amazing waterfalls around each turn in the road.  There was a cloud cover that hung over as we drove around little mountain roads.  This was the perfect setting for seeing Big Foot.  This area was covered in all kinds of lakes, rivers, streams and the most beautiful waterfalls we have ever seen.

We stopped in Hope,BC to gather info at the information center.  This is the city where Rambo was filmed.

Oh look, it's a Heston Rambo!!

We quickly learned that his symbol meant needed information; clean washrooms (bathrooms) and much needed WIFI.  I'm going to get a picture of the boys glued to their ipods every time we stop at an i~stop.  We all grab our iphones and start downloading and uploading maps, info and the boys of course loading more games.

I cannot even start to really explain how amazing the sites were as we saw along the drive.

The scenery even has Heston glued to the window. He's looking for animals; bears, elk, or moose.
When we came into Canada we took Hwy 1 up to 97.  So this is our first day’s journey into British Columbia, Canada. Hope you enjoy the pictures. Most of them are taken from the front seat of our car.  I got Johnny to pull over at a few spots so that I could snap a few good shots. But again let me reiterate that the pictures don’t do it much justice.  It is one of those moments where you just have to be there.

After awhile the green mountains turned into more bare mountains with gushing streams flowing along side the long road.  But still a very cool site.

We pulled over at one of Canada's awesome picnic spots for lunch.  It was a quick stop because of shower came along to join us.  We have found it rather odd how on a sunny bright minute a rain cloud will blow up and drop it's water and then the next minute it is bright and sunny again.  Due to the nice little shower we did not waste a lot of time eating.  We quickly got back on our long journey.

We made it to Prince George, BC. Nice little town. We found a nice little campground, grilled us up some hotdogs and then bunked down for the night. Just to let you all know, the bugs here are HORRIABLE!! Bring bug spray!!!!!! We used a half a bottle! Heston asked, "Will a mosquitoes suck all my blood?"

The mosquitoes may not suck all our blood but we have found out that the gas stations here will suck all of our Tooneys and Looneys. End of day one in British Columbia, Canada. I wonder what kind of adventures we will have tomorrow.  I'll post when I can get Wifi at campsites.
