Seward, AK

On our way home from Homer we decided to go to Seward, AK.  We stopped off at this little city called Soldotna.  The town is known for it's fishing.  They have awesome board walks that line the river banks for fishing.  They told us that these board walks help protect the banks of the river.  Now if they would only add a ferries wheel, roller coaster and some mid way games it would give the feel of a real beach board walk.  It would help with their tourism industry.  I can just see it now, dad fishing while mom and the kids watching from the seat of the high flying ferries wheel.  Wow, I live in a dream world.  Anyway, cute town, you can see it all in a matter of about one hour (would have stayed longer if the board walk was full of rides, just saying!!!)

This was my favorite spot to photograph. The lake with the snow covered mountain looks amazing.  Wish I could paint this.

Backed our new camper up and set up camp for the night.

While camping in Seward on this river we saw a criuse ship sail into port.

Pop goes the pop corn.  One of the boys favorite things to do is pop jiffy pop over the open fire.

Almost there!

We hike up to Exit Glacier.  Awesome site. I'll let the pictures tell the story. My words are not needed.

Boys as junior rangers.

Ok the next pictures are of mountain goats.  You have to really look to see them.  It's like the game, I SPY.  Look, look, did you see them......
