Sports Season is Over

Bryson and Heston played sports here in Denver at the Eisenhower Recreation Department.
They had a great season.  Bryson's soccer team won almost all their games and tied a few.  He says they only lost one game out of the whole season.  Heston's football team was awesome.  Heston loved playing and was super good.  He had the best coach ever, Mason!  Mason taught them great plays.  Heston was the person who hiked the ball. ( I don't know the name of the position, but you know what I am talking about).  The person that throws the ball after Heston hiked it would make a pass to him.  He caught the ball most of the time.  Heston even made a few interceptions by catching a flying ball.  He now has his sights set on the NFL.

Mason goes to the play book.

Heston catches a pass!!!  Then a touch down!!

Huddle up, huddle up and call the play!!

Mason giving Heston instructions.

Over all we had a great season at Eisenhower.
Playing has inspired Heston to play pro-football. So remember the name
HESTON J. MIZE
because one day you may see him again.

SNOW DAY !!!!

Today we took a drive to find snow, which was not hard to do.  The ski areas are already open and running out here.  We can't wait for our ski lessons.  The boys love snow. Can't believe we have snow in October.  I started singing Christmas songs today.

Aspens in the snow.

Heston put that snowball down.

Snowboarding down the hill, watch out for that TREE.

After freezing in the snow we found a little coffee shop.It was a old train that had been converted into a coffee shop.  Soooooo cute!!
Yum, yum!!

Celebrate at Yogi Bear Campground

September 27 was Heston’s birthday so he wanted to celebrate by going camping at Yogi Bear campground here in Estes Park.  We had a great time.  Yogi bear came to visit Heston at our campsite and brought him balloons and a birthday card.  The card was signed by Yogi himself.  Do you know how Yogi signs his name?? Keep reading to find out.

Heston recived a Tim Tebow jersey for his birhday....

and a Club Pengiun DS game.

This particular weekend Yogi held his Halloween activities.  Campsites were decorated for the season and kids were able to dress up and trick-or-treat around the campground.  Our campsite was decorated as Charlie Browns “It’s a Great Pumpkin” we even had Charlie Brown himself had out candy
Bryson dressed up as a cowboy and Heston dressed up as Dracula and went around to all the campsites.  They ended up with a ton of candy.

We took a drive into the city of Estes Park where to found a store that looked like Noah’s Ark.  We also found Elk bathing in a near by lake.  This city has some great mountain views.  We drove though Rock Mountain National Park also.
